The post modern expression is confused one because its some how a part of modern and some how other away from it. It sometimes appears to be an extension to the modernism and at the same time a revolution on it and a movement in the opposite direction .It firstly appeared in art and literature and then it reflected upon architecture which became the most affected field by that movement.
No field more than architecture that the death of the modernism affected it clearly.
As 'Fredric Jameson' – American famous critic said. On international side there are number of famous architects that enrich the post modern movement by their works. ( Michael Graves, Charles Moore and Robert Vintury)
On the local side the effect of this movement spread widely in spite of its motivations does not exist at Egypt yet. I am afraid to say that similar dilemma to that of modernity might appear in our countries therefore it is necessary to analyze the post modern product in order to discuss its advantages and disadvantages to find away to upgrade atheistic values and at the same time to fit economical and technical .
