Abstract
Melia azedarach fruits as powder and as extract in petroleum ether and in acetone were evaluated for mortality. reduction in F I progeny and repellency effect against T. Caslaneul/I-adults at concentrations I; 2: 4: and 8% for powder
and 1.25: 2.5: 5, and 10% for extract
Reduction in F I progeny ranged between 4.3-6H.5%: 8.4-7R 1%. and 23.6-64.3% for Melia ozeilaroch fruits powder. for petroleum ether extract. and
acetone extract, respect ively.
Results showed that the observed moralities after 2 I days were "cry 10\ for the powder and negligiblc in case of the extracts at all tcsted conccntrations
Results of rcpellency effect showed that the range of average repellency was between 14.1-20%: IS-23.4%.•alld 21.3-31.9% forMcliaazedarchfmits powder. petroleum ether extract and acetone extfllct. respectively
