Abstract
This study was done to compare the general concepts of National Immunization programme in both Qatar and Bertha City in Egypt. The sample included 100 & 88 physicians and nurses in Bertha and Qatar respectively. Analysis of the data revealed that the responsible persons for vaccine administration are nurses only in Qatar while 41% of Egyptian group reported that physicians and others may give vaccine. All Qatari group decided that prevaccination medical check up was practised completely while only 34% of Qalyobia group decided the same. The work overload is the main obstacle to provide vaccine in Qatar while the lack of public awareness is the main obstacle in Egypt
