Abstract

The present study aimed to reveal the relationship between extroversion / introversion and dependence / independence Perception in a sample of Omani female teachers colleges in the Sultanate of Oman The instruments were administered a measure of extraversion / introversion from a battery of personality Eysenck(E.P.Q) And Group Embedded Figures test to measure the field dependence/independence .A sample of Omani students numbered two hundred and fifty student the first year and second year Results of the study did not result in the presence of statistically significant differences between the group of female students extraversion and a group of Omani students introversion in the field dependence/independence While the results showed the statistically significant differences between the group of Omani students of the scientific disciplines and a group of Omani students in the literary disciplines in favor a group of Omani students of the scientific disciplines Discuss the results in the light of the theoretical framework and previous studies.
