Cervical fractures are one of the most devastating injuries. The aim of this work is to evaluate patients with cervical spine trauma and different methods of management and their outcome . The study was upon 18 patients at neurosurgery department of Benha University Hospitals. Common presentations including the following : Limited range of motion associated with pain, weakness, numbness, or paresthesias along affected nerve roots. Management should start at the field by safe transportation and medical treatment , surgical management is done to decompress the spinal cord and fixation of vertebral column. The primary indications for surgical intervention in cervical spine injuries include mal-alignment of the spine, with or without neurological deficits, and progressive neurological deterioration in the face of persistent compression from bone or disk fragments. Early diagnosis of injury, preservation of spinal cord function, and restoration of spinal alignment and stability are the keys to successful management.
