الملخص
Regional anaesthetic techniques are increasingly preferred for cesarean section. With small amounts and various combination of drugs, systemic and pharmacological effects are avoided, deep surgical anesthesia is obtained, safe and comfortable anesthesia is provided for the mother and Child compared to other techniques. Recently levobupivacain , the pure L enantiomer of bupivacaine is preferred during spinal anesthesia due to its lower cardiovascular and central nervous system toxicity .The addition of low doses of opioids to local anaesthetic during spinal anesthesia for cesarean section decrease the incidence of local anaesthetics related side effects, reduce the time to onset of anesthesia and increase the quality of intra and post operative analgesia.
