الملخص
This paper describes a new EEG-based imaging method that can depict the location and extent of stroke lesions similar to MRI scans. The ratio of delta and alpha band powers as well as a modified brain symmetry index is used with high-density EEG technology for generating topographical maps. Calculations are implemented on a GPU card achieving real-time processing speed making the method usable for continuous patient monitoring. The maps can help in verifying treatment effectiveness as well as measuring progress of recovery.
