الملخص
Lidocaine has marked antidiuretic effect for 2 1/2 hours (P<0.05), natriuretic effect (P<O.01) and increased K excretion (P<0.01). Verapamil has no significant effect on urine flow rate (P>0.5), but has natriuretic effect (P<0.05) and no significant changes on K excretion (P>0.05).
Propranolol has no significant effect on urine flow (P>0.05), decrease Na excretion (P<0.05), but has no effect on K excretion (P>0.05).
The combined effect of Lidocaine and Verapamil showed that the antidiuretic action of Lidocaine is regressed for 1/2 hour. It has a natriuretic effect (P<0.01) and causes marked increased K excretion (P<0.01).
Combination of Lidocaine_ with Propranol showed marked inhibitory effect on urine flow (P<0.01), significant decrease in Na excretion (P<0.05) and significant increase in K excretion (P<0.05).
