الملخص
Power system stability is affected by the propagation of
disturbance occurred at any place of the system. If this
disturbance is sufficiently severe, it may lead to tripping of one or
more generators. The generator tripping can spread through the
power system causing the cascading failure, and consequently,
total system blackout. In this paper, emergency control schemes
comprising controlled system islanding and load shedding are
proposed to prevent the spread of generators tripping.
