الملخص
Five plates made of multiple layers of wire fabric impregnated with cement
mortar were tested. Such plates can be used for constructing structural elements
or strengthening and repair of reinforced concrete structures. The studied
parameters were the lamination process and the plate aspect ratio. The
transverse deflection and strain distribution across the thickness of plates were
measured on prototype models. It was found that increasing the number of cast
layers in constructing the plates resulted in a reduction of mid-span deflection.
The experimental results were found to be in good agreement with the
theoretical findings. The latter were obtained using a developed non-linear
finite element analysis based on the layered approach.
