الملخص
Objective : to quantify the three- dimensional ultrasound characteristics of ovaries in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Design : this study was performed as prospective observational study.
Methods and Subject: 3 D pelvic ultrasound was performed in 40 women with PCOS and 40 controls. Antral follicle count(AFC), total ovarian volume, stromal volume and ovarian blood flow was quantified using both 3D power Doppler and 2 D pulsed- wave Doppler .
Results: women with PCOS had a higher AFC (median 16.1 versus 5.7,
p value
