الملخص
This work was carried out to prolonging storability of Costata persimmon fruits up to forty two days with the maintenance of good fruit marketable parameters, it is preferable to dip the fruits in 4% calcium chloride or 2% sodium hypochlorite solutions for five minutes and keeping the fruits in cold stores at 5 or 0°C.
Meanwhile, to enhance storability and marketability of Zebda mango fruits, it is advisable to pre-harvest spray Zebda mango fruits three times a year (The first spray was done after fruit setting stability, meanwhile the others two sprays were carried out thereafter at three weeks intervals) with 2% calcium chloride or 50 ppm gibberellin and keeping treated fruits after harvesting under storage at 15°C and 90-95% RH.
