الملخص
Spondylolysis is a fatigue fracture in the pars interarticularis due to repetitive mechanical stresses on the spine. Its occurs in about 5-6% of the population and young people are more likely to develop spondylolysis. Spondylolysis causes low back pain. Investigations include plain x-rays, computed tomography, SPECT and MRI. Treatment patterns include conservative treatment, Buck's screw, Morscher's hook,
Scott's wiring techniques and cable-screw construct. In all these techniques bone graft is used.
