الملخص
Up to a certain concentration, Cl− ions have no influence on the passive state of nickel in HNO3 and NaOH media. However, higher aggressive ion concentrations cause destruction of passivity and initiation of visible pits. The change in integrated anodic charge, δqa, is taken as a measure of the extent of pitting. The latter varies linearly with logCC1-. Pitting corrosion potential varies with logCC1- according to segmoidal curves. Organic amines inhibit the effect of C1− ion by influencing both anodic and cathodic partial reactions.
